Short Utility Barbell

$169.99 USD

Lift big in tiny spaces! 17 inches shorter VS the average Olympic bar.

Product Features

  • COMPACT GYM LIFESAVER

Sometimes, the best does come in small packages - we took our best-selling Utility Barbell and (literally) trimmed some off the top, so your gym will feel more spacious whether you (or your clients) are getting their lift on.

  • PORTABLE MEETS PRACTICAL

It's just 69 inches long! Do landmine exercises where you otherwise couldn't. Deadlift or Olympic lift in the corner. Store it in a Vertical Bar Holder, despite having 8-foot ceilings - we see you, basement dweller.

  • SMALL SIZE, ALL THE POWER

Everything you expect from a quality Olympic barbell just 17.6 inches shorter. And thanks to its 1,000-pound capacity, you can still chase that 800-pound deadlift with room to spare.

Product Details

Couldn't think of another tagline here - we just kept coming up short. Whether you're lifting in a broom closet under the stairs (is that you, Harry?) or looking to optimize the functionality of your space-constrained home gym, a short barbell is a saving grace.

We took our best-selling Utility Barbell and literally trimmed a little off the top.

This means you still get its beloved features; versatile 28.5mm diameter, dual knurl markings, centre knurl for better grip on squats, and a durable black zinc coating. We even matched the sleeve finish for an all-black look that'll turn heads.

Obviously, the rackable version is more practical for squats and bench presses; but with its solid 1,000lb capacity, this non-rackable short barbell takes the cake for deadlifts and Olympic lifts in tight quarters.

IMPORTANT: The Short Utility Bar is shorter than a typical Olympic barbell between the collars, so it's NOT rackable on a standard power rack. For a rackable version, check out the Short Rackable Utility Bar.
