A competition-style combo bench and squat rack in one.
Combo Squat Rack By Strongarm
Great Budget Combo Rack
After a month of use I'm really loving this combo rack. I haven't personally owned any others, but it fits perfectly in my home gym taking up minimal space. My only complaints are the usual - adjuster arms blocking the plates (but at the same time having plate stacks is great for weighing down the rack if you can't bolt it down), bench uprights feel a little unsteady (resolved this by adhering UHMW plastic to the powder coat behind it to stop it from impacting), bar shifts left to right very easily when initially loading because of the PVC on the catches (which are otherwise great for centering the bar), and securing the bench to the rack takes a looong time because it uses long hand screws. I don't secure mine, the bench itself is heavy enough. Factoring these in, and considering most of these flaws are easy to fix through simple modification, I cannot recommend this rack enough for a home gym. Keep in mind that equipment like this does not ship well in boxes and may arrive scratched. Mine arrived with several minor scratches, and one area heavily scratched. Painted over with black rust-oleum, threw in some green stripes, and she's a real beauty. TL;DR - Minor flaws with the rack, but otherwise a fantastic purchase for the price.
Nice upgrades from previous versions as minor issues have now been fixed. Go to item for both squatting and benching in our facility.
Quality rack, can’t beat the price
Thank you Andrew! We love offering top quality equipment for an even better price. Enjoy!

Great bench. Great price. Only took about 30 minutes to set up. Highly recommend.

For Gym Owners
A meticulously designed all-inclusive Combo Squat Rack / Bench Press.
Designed by Mike Armstrong, multi-decade powerlifting veteran and secretary of the Canadian Powerlifting Union, the combo squat rack was designed as an economy version of the squat/bench racks you see in IPF meets. The most distinct advantage of our model being that it’s less than 1/4 the price of the competition legal models, while at the same time providing additional features that make it even better for your training.
Here’s some reason’s why you should have this rack in your gym:
1. Adjustment Levers
Everyone is different, body size, arm length, hand positions all vary. The chances of two lifters working out together needing the bar at exactly the same height is remote. Now you can adjust it in seconds, without needing to lift the weight directly, let a lever handle do the hard part.
2. Simulate the Competition feel
Simulate the feel of meet day with a rack that feels the same as the ER or Eleiko that you will use in the contest. All the proper dimensions as a contest rack.
3. Save Space
Space is always at a premium in home gyms, even in most commercial gyms. Similar to a cage rack, one rack that allows you to squat and bench in the same space is a good thing.
4. Band pegs.
Band resistance has become an absolute essential when training the big three and many squat racks have been designed to accommodate this style of training. Problem is most bench press designs are stuck in the stone age. Our bench has 2 adjustable pegs on each side allowing you to attach bands to create a variable tension.
5. Nylon Rollers
To protect that expensive new bar you are using and easily adjust your lift off location.
6. It has a powerful design.
The rack handles up to 1,000lbs, enough to accommodate even the top lifters in the world. The adjustable safety catches and spotter platform ensures the safety of the user. It also meets IPF competition specs, which means you’ll be ready for your meet.(meant for use while benching only, always use spotters for squatting)
On IPF legal racks, there are spotter arms but they are recommended for squats, the rack WILL flip over towards you if a heavy weight rolls to the out end of the safeties. The StrongArm rack has TWO solutions to this: 1) the base of the rack has holes to allow it to be bolted to the floor and 2) the plate storage pins at the front can be loaded up as counter-balance. Both methods will prevent rollover but we recommend bolting it down if possible.
“How is it different than an actual ER/Eleiko/Bull rack?” We get this question a lot. The StrongArm Combo rack is not meant to be a copy of those great products, the steel is not as heavy, the construction is not as “craftsman” precise. But we stand behind this product completely, just don’t buy it expecting something identical to a product that costs 4 or 5 times the price.
